Paul and Justine's Pond Passion all began several years ago. Something about having a pond in your own yard really struck Paul. After extensive research he decided on a system that "Works With Mother Nature, not against Her". It all seemed to make sense.

While sitting outside one summer evening Paul & his wife Justine decided to cancel their summer vacation & stay home to build their very own pond.

In 2002 WaterScape Designs LLC was born. We custom design & build ponds, streams, waterfalls & offer pond maintenance programs for a growing list of delighted customers.

See the testimonials for yourself. In 2005, we also opened a retail store & built a greenhouse to complement our construction & design business.

We are a full service pond shop. In the greenhouse, we offer a wide variety of aquatic plants, as well as an array of pond fish. We have something for everyone's budget, beginning with the simple goldfish & sarrassas as well as domestic, imported & butterfly koi.

In the store, we have complete pond kits, which include everything you need to build your own pond (except the rocks), we also sell all pond components separately. We carry pumps, filters, lights, fishnets, fish food, fish medications & all the water treatments. Also available is pond liner, underlayment, liner patches, waterfall foam etc. We have anything you would need whether your pond has been professionally installed or you want to install it yourself. We are here for you!

NxLevel Entrepreneurial Training Program

2005 marked the fourth year DCEDC offered this twelve-week business plan writing class. Nineteen students participated in the program, which was co-sponsored by the UW-Green Bay Small Business Development Center, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and the Wisconsin Department of Commerce. Paul and Justine Mancheski, founders of WaterScape Designs, LLC, were the recipient of a $1,000 award for the best business plan, which was generously sponsored by Associated Bank, Baylake Bank and Citizens Bank, plus a $5,000 advertising package from Roger Utnehmer and DoorCountyDailyNews.com

N.E.W. Business Plan Competition

In 2006 the first ever Northeast Wisconsin Business Plan Competition was held to encourage & support entrepreneurship in Northeast Wisconsin. More than 100 entries were received & the types of business' proposed, included information technology, business services & personal services.

Paul & Justine Mancheski, owners of WaterScape Designs LLC a business that custom designs decorative water features such as ponds, streams & waterfalls with an emphasis on all natural systems, were chosen to receive $2000 in prize money for their Business Plan.

A total of $25,000 in prize monies were awarded to 9 winners. Winners were from all over Northeast Wisconsin representing seven different communities including Appleton, Door County, Green Bay, Manitowoc, Neenah, Oshkosh & Shawano.

Numerous partners in this contest that help make this event possible included: Northeast Wisconsin Regional Economic Partnership, NEWREP, NE Chapter of Wisconsin Innovation Network-NE WIN, Fox Valley and Bay Area Workforce Development Boards, New North Inc, & the Council on Workforce Investment of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development..
